Question: does anyone ever view your work in a different way because you are a woman. did being a woman hold you back at all when you were trying to become an engineer?

I don’t think it’s ever held me back personally but as to people viewing you differently I think you can sometimes have a bit more to prove when your a woman working in a male dominated sector. I was at a meeting really when a person who was late and missed the introductions looked around the table asking who the electrical consultant was and then was visibly surprised when I answered. This doesn’t happen often tho!
